Homeschool Support at ACA

At Amarillo Christian Academy (ACA), we understand that many families desire the flexibility and personal connection of homeschooling—but also want structured support, expert guidance, and community along the way. That’s why our Homeschool Support option exists: to come alongside homeschool families and provide a Christ-centered, part-time learning experience that enhances—not replaces—their home education journey.

ACA’s Homeschool Support program is designed for families who are actively homeschooling but want help supplementing their child’s education. We offer a 2-day-a-week option where learners attend ACA to receive academic support, enrichment, and peer interaction—while continuing their core studies at home during the rest of the week. This hybrid model offers the best of both worlds:

• Structured Learning in a Supportive Setting: On-site days include core academics, project-based learning, executive function coaching, and spiritual growth opportunities in a small-group environment.  

• Home Learning Flexibility:  Learners complete academic work from home with families determining their child’s daily learning pace when at home while following an overall timeline with clear deadlines provided by ACA. This structure ensures accountability, and consistency, while still benefiting from ACA’s support with grading, curriculum alignment, academic tracking, and formal progress reporting.   

• IEP/504 Accommodations: Certified educators provide individualized support and sensory-friendly strategies tailored to each learner’s unique needs.  

• Faith-Based Foundation: Every aspect of the ACA experience is rooted in biblical truth, helping students grow spiritually as well as academically.  

• Grace-Filled Community: Parents gain connection and support through a partnership-focused model that honors the homeschool journey.

•  Families who homeschool but need part-time structure, academic reinforcement, or sensory-inclusive support.
   
• Learners who benefit from hands-on instruction, small learning pods, and personalized attention.
   
• Parents looking to outsource parts of their homeschool week while staying deeply involved in their child’s education.
